In this article you will learn about the Reminders feature in Leanheat® Monitor. Their primary function is to remind you when a meter replacement is coming up, or any other important dates.
Device reminders
Reminders can be accessed through the "Reminders" tab when clicking on a device. The tab has two lists, "Active" and "Completed".
You can add a new reminder by clicking on "Add new reminder". The reminder needs a "Name" and an "Overdue date", which has to be in the future.
You also set how many days before the overdue date the notification and the warning appear, with "Display Notification before" and "Display Warning before". A summary underneath spells out the three resulting dates, so you can check them before saving. Once you are done, click "Save".
A reminder that has been dealt with can be closed with "Complete reminder", which moves it to the "Completed" list. If you close one by mistake, "Mark as active" puts it back. Reminders can also be edited or deleted.
Meter reminders
Meter reminders are not created by hand. They come from the next replacement date set on a meter, and the number of days before that date at which you are notified or warned is set once for the whole tenant, in "Admin" and then "General settings", under "Meters settings" and "Meter replacements reminders".
Seeing reminders on your dashboard
The "Upcoming reminders" widget collects reminders across your devices. It can be set to show "Device reminders" or "Meter reminders", and filtered by severity so you see everything, or only those that are overdue, warning or notifying.
