In this guide you will learn how to add M-bus meters, enter meter replacements and edit meter information in the mobile version of Leanheat® Monitor.
The mobile version covers M-bus meters, the meters Leanheat® Monitor reads itself through the controller. For the full picture, including device meters, meter slots, meter types and standalone meters connected through a gateway, see the Meters article.
Adding an M-bus meter
Select the device you want to add the meter to, tap the "Meters" tab and tap "+ Add M-bus meter".
In the first step enter the meter name and the M-bus address. Once Leanheat® Monitor has read the meter you will see the manufacturer information, and you select the readings period and the meter slot. The meter slot is the consecutive meter number, and M-bus meters use slots 11 to 20.
In the next step tick the check box next to each register you want displayed and stored. For each register also verify or pick the correct suffix from the drop down menu shown when tapping "Suffix". To finish, tap "Save".
Meter replacements
A meter replacement has to be entered in Leanheat® Monitor whenever a meter is replaced physically. You enter the accumulated values (volume, energy, tariff) from the previous meter and from the new one, so that reports keep accurate values across the change.
Tap the device the replaced meter belongs to, open the "Meters" tab and tap the meter that was replaced. Open "Meter replacements" and tap "+ Add meter replacement". Enter the accumulated values of the old meter and of the new meter, then tap "Save".
Meter information
To edit meter information such as the meter name, the replacement date and the meter purpose (billing, control, production, consumption), open the device, tap the "Meters" tab, tap the meter, open "Basic information" and tap "Edit".
Replacement dates have to be set for the meter to appear in the "Next replacement date" widget.
